HUBERT SUMLIN
Born 1931 in Mississippi, Grammy nominated Hubert Sumlin is a living Blues Legend. With a career that is approaching 6 decades, Sumlin has played with Howlin' Wolf, Eddy Shaw, Muddy Waters, and James Cotton. His raw and rhythmic guitar style has inspired all of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generation electric blues players. As an inductee to the Blues and Rock N Roll Halls of Fame, Hubert is well respected and highly sought after. 2007 saw Hubert join forces with Eric Clapton & friends for the stellar Crossroads Guitar Festival. He also toured in support of young blues apprentice Kenny Wayne Shepard and the Hendrix Tribute Tour. Go Hubert, nothing can stop the blues!
