Earl Slick

Excetylene® - All American - Pro Audio

He is by definition, a New York Rocker. He's from New York, he cut his teeth in the New York scene, he is regarded for his New York session work, and he always carries that quintessential NYC swagger. Earl Slick first gained popularity after replacing Mick Ronson in David Bowie's band. With Bowie he proceeded to tear it up for a number of albums. One of our favorites is "David Live", which was captured live from the Tower Theater in Philadelphia. Tracks "Aladdin Sane" and "Sweet Thing" are two from that recording that highlight his trademark guitar playing -- edgy riffs with killer tone. He continues to carry on as a well-respected gun-for-hire and solo artist. Look for his latest projects " The Eons" and "Slinky Vagabond".
